Installation works are being done for the boiler which is targeted to be fully operational by October 2018. By this time, the first generator will produce electricity for equipment commissioning.

Seawater Desalination Facility

The construction of the seawater desalination facility ; which will provide the power plant with fresh water is in high gear. This facility will be commissioned prior to the power plant.

Refinery & Petrochemical Complex

Piling and foundation laying works for major structures/equipment are ongoing. All major structures’ foundation works are expected to be completed by end of 2017. This will then pave the way to start installation works in 2018 and to achieve the project goal of mechanical completion by end of 2018.
