Hengyi Industries Hosts Annual Appreciation Dinner to Honour Workforce Contributions

9 December 2025, Munawwarah Hall, Setia Point – Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd held its Annual Appreciation Dinner, bringing together employees, stakeholders, and guests for a night of celebration, appreciation and recognition.

Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II.

The evening began with an opening address by the Guest of Honour, followed by remarks delivered by Mr Qiu Jianlin, Chairman of Zhejiang Hengyi Group Co. Ltd. and Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd, and Mr Chen Lian Cai, Chief Executive Officer of Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd. In their speeches, they expressed appreciation for the company’s workforce, reflected on key milestones, and reinforced Hengyi Industries’ aspirations for continued growth and industry excellence.

Carrying the theme “Hollywood Nights: The Hengyi Edition,” this year’s Appreciation Dinner celebrated Hengyi Industries’ six years of successful operations and the strength of its dedicated workforce. A key highlight of the event was the presentation of multiple awards recognising employees for their commitment, outstanding performance and long-term contribution.

These included the 10-Year Service Award presented to six recipients, the 2025 Best Employee Awards presented to ten recipients, and the Best Group Awards presented to five teams. Awards were also given to the winners of the 2025 Skills Competition and the Excellence Safety Production Unit.

Guests were also treated to a series of performances by Hengyi Industries staff, showcasing the diverse talents within the company. The night continued with exciting activities, including a lucky draw, as well as awards for Best Dressed and Best Performance.

Held annually since 2023, the Appreciation Dinner serves as a gesture of gratitude to the staff of Hengyi Industries, acknowledging their hard work, dedication, and shared commitment to the company’s progress. Their unwavering contribution continues to drive Hengyi Industries forward in its vision of achieving excellence in petrochemical development through continuous innovation and long-term business sustainability.
